Sphinx of the Poppy Necropolis

Hand-created drawing from 2024, digitally finished. I was building a mythical hybrid between Hecate, Lilith, Persephone, Nyx, and other goddesses of the night, death, magic, ghosts, afterlife, transformation and dangerous eroticism. She is also Sphinx, a goddess of Moon and mysteries. I love to use mythology as a symbolic representation of my own psychical processes and of female sexuality, unbridled, voracious, gorgeous, emancipated and in charge. She knows what she wants and she is riding her pleasure as a captain of her realm.
